Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Administration and operation of the Tenable.SC vulnerability management tool (Multi Tenant environment) Planning, implementation and support of Tenable.SC installations at customers Technical contact for customers as part of vulnerability management Implementation and monitoring of regular vulnerability scans Analysis and evaluation of identified vulnerabilities according to current threat situations, CVSS etc. Priority and categorisation of vulnerabilities Detection of recommendations for action for customers (risk assessment/measure proposals) Creation and presentation of reports and reports for customers Support to Fix Vulnerabilities (Remediation Support) Support in developing and improving vulnerability management processes Cooperation with internal teams and external contacts (IT, Security, Incident Response etc.) Participation in customer appointments, remote and possibly on site Documentation of activities and measures in the ticket system

Complete studies in the field of computer science, IT security, business informatics or comparable qualifications, e.g. relevant vocational training with corresponding professional experience Practical experience in dealing with vulnerability management tools, ideally Tenable.SC, e.g. by administration of similar security products Experience in the operation and administration of IT systems (Windows, Linux, network components), e.g. as a system administrator or IT security staff Knowledge of network security, IT infrastructures and typical vulnerability scenarios Experience in assessing and prioritizing vulnerabilities (e.g. evaluation according to CVSS), e.g. by activities in penetration testing or security monitoring Ideally experience in consulting customers in the field of IT security Ability to prepare and present technical facts in a comprehensible and targeted manner Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Embossed team and communication skills Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation
