Derivate Spezialist (m/f/d)

In your function as a Derivatives specialist (m/w/d), you play a central role in accounting and are professionally contact persons for the processing, accounting and valuation of derivatives transactions within the group of companies. You are responsible for the independent processing of bilateral and cleared derivatives and accompany all lifecycle events – from contractual changes to interest rate adjustments to margin calls and partial cancellations. Keep in mind ongoing changes in the derivatives stock, ensure a timely and professionally correct implementation and actively contribute to the assessment and balance sheet mapping. A further focus is on the preparation of accounting statements according to HGB and IFRS in the field of derivatives, as well as the independent implementation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for this topic. You work closely with internal interfaces and external testers and help to continuously develop the processes in the derivatives and treasury environment.

You have a degree in economics with a focus on accounting/finance or a comparable qualification, as an alternative to a further education to the internationally qualified accounting officer (m/w/d) with corresponding professional experience. You provide sound knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting and have deep expertise in accounting for financial instruments, in particular derivatives. The safe handling of MS Excel is natural for you; also bring you a high IT affinity and joy in the further development of processes and systems. Analytical thinking, a structured and self-sponsored way of working, as well as pronounced communication skills are a feature. You feel comfortable in an international environment and have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
