Media Lab Management and Research Assistant (m/f/d)

The Professorship for Audio Signal Processing, based in the Munich headquarters, is now looking for an employee or employee to support our extensive audiovisual technology and support the research company in full time.

Tasks

• Varied tasks in the audiovisual research laboratories: self-employed maintenance, further development, operational organisation, operational safety, management of laboratory computers/software
• Organisation and review of research equipment and assistance in new acquisitions
• Device and laboratory training of users and support in audiovisual experiments
• Supporting the team in the planning, design and maintenance of our existing website
• Administration of household and third-party funds, bodies, teaching and publications.

Requirements

• Complete training or studies in the fields of media technology, event technology, sound technology, electrical engineering, computer science, technical assistance or equivalent professional experience
• Comprehensive experience in dealing with audiovisual systems
• Programming experience required in Matlab and C/C++
• Interest in cooperation in an innovative, scientific-technical and medical environment and to take over tasks in team assistance
• High level of flexibility, willingness to cooperate, working independently
• Very good knowledge of the German and English language in word and writing
• Safe handling of Windows incl. Software Administration, MS Office and web-based systems
• Experience with financial accounting (SAP/R3) and team assistance desired.

For applicants who were previously employed or currently employed at the Free State of Bavaria, there is the possibility of permanent employment.
