The agile Release Train of the Customer Data Hub is responsible for the development and operation of convergent customer data in real time from all IT stacks. Our team focuses on innovative technologies such as K2View Fabric, Kafka and Cloud-native Architectures in AWS and supports the digital interactions of millions of customers with millions of API cases and event triggers per month.

As a central expert:in the database management, you actively shape the future of our data platforms (Oracle, PostgreSQL, S3) and ensure that our databases form the reliable backbone for business-critical applications and digital innovations. You are responsible for the 24/7 availability and performance of all supervised databases by analyzing and optimizing the systems and building efficient monitoring. You monitor and optimize database quality and performance through continuous analysis and regular reviews with development partners and operating areas. You are responsible for testing the quality and implementing new software deliveries for the databases. You check and update the operating and system documentation. You coordinate and drive independent, targeted processing and upgrading of highly complex incidents through cooperation or Control with the incident. Management, Service Management Center, Development Units, Test, Internal and External Suppliers and Service Providers. You initiate and control necessary database patches to ensure the security and compliance of our databases You agree with project managers and architects in the planning and implementation of projects with a view to smooth operation.

What distinguishes you: Complete technical or economic engineering studies or many years of experience in IT infrastructure and data center, IT operation, IT engineering. At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, preferably in IT operations, IT consulting or IT architecture environment with special focus on databases. Deep experience in the operation and optimization of Oracle and NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, MySQL, PostgreSQL, S3, Cassandra) and in cloud Technologies (AWS) and Cloud-native Architectures Experience with DevOps tools and automation (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). English fluent in word and writing. Embossed communication and team skills, also in the international environment. Knowledge of IT architectures and IT service management processes (ITIL) Experience in crisis management for subject-related topics.

This body can be exercised in fulltime or full-time part-time (min. 30 hours).
