As Head of Department (m/w/d), you will be running the “Turret Armaments” department in the product area tower systems for tactical land vehicles. In the context of the integration of weapons systems, your specialist department is responsible for the definition of requirements, architecture development, specification of subsystems and assemblies, technical management and the integration, verification and validation of weapons systems.

Technical and disciplinary leadership of the department Further development of the department and its employees Ensuring the implementation of defined development tasks in a planned time, cost and quality Continuous optimization of processes, tools and skills in the development and verification process of tower systems Interface management between program area, technical project management and engineering department Ordering and controlling internal and external suppliers Reporting within the framework of department/project/program audits regarding target achievement (quality, cost, time) and further KPIs

Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of system engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering Multiannual professional experience in a senior position as well as in the field of system development, in particular in the field of requirement definition and demonstration Very good understanding of development processes and product development methodology Military background of advantage flowing English skills in word and writing Embossed Analytical and Rhetorical Skills Ready for business trips
