As a department manager (m/w/d) Controlling, you take responsibility for a team of more than 20 employees from corporate planning, management reporting, investment and cost controlling as well as analysis & control. You shape the company's financial control logic, create transparency and set standards for a modern, effective controlling. Your mission You lead the control department and develop it professionally and organizationally.

Guided tour & organization Technical, organizational and disciplinary management of the controlling Development of a powerful team as well as clear processes, structures and responsibilities Close cooperation with internal interfaces (including finance, regulation, portfolio management, technology) and external stakeholders Business management & planning Total responsibility for integrated business planning (GuV, balance sheet, cash flow) Control, consolidation and further development of budget, forecast and multiannual planning Ensure sound management and management decision bases Creation of decision templates at top management level Reporting & analysis Responsibility for a transparent, addressable management reporting Analysis of company and sector performance and derivation of specific control impulses Implementation of cost-effectiveness, scenario and sensitivity analyses Investment & regulatory controlling Support of management in investment decisions and coordination of central project gate processes (e.g. FID) Further development of methods, KPIs and standards in project and investment controlling Creation of cost applications in the context of incentive and cost regulation (earth gas & hydrogen) Preparation and implementation of procedures with the Federal Network Agency Transformation & Systems Development of the Controlling System Landscape (SAP S/4HANA, SAC, BI/Analytics) Impulse for modern control approaches, efficiency and digitalization in controlling Classification and implementation of relevant developments in the financial and regulatory environment

You are an experienced, sovereign leadership – analytically strong, communicatively safe and with a natural claim to excellence. Your profile: Completed studies in the field of economics, finance, controlling or comparable qualifications Multiannual leadership experience in controlling or adjacent areas, ideally in a regulated energy economy (incentive regulation) Knowledge of business planning, reporting, cost accounting and project controlling Communication strength, team skills and strong entrepreneurial thinking and action Solution-oriented, pragmatic mode of operation with clear vision for feasibility and effect willingness to design and enjoy further developing proven, new ways to go and build sustainable structures Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Enthusiasm for digital transformation in controlling
