Technical Service Consultant Type Approval (m/f/d)

Do you want to introduce your technical expertise in a challenging regulatory environment? In this role, your know-how supports the quality-assured execution of tests and expert opinions and actively contributes to the technical development of the technical service. Ensuring uniform, high-quality and law-compliant implementation of national and EU type-approval tests and expert opinions Technical advice and support for partners, customers and signatures in technical, regulatory and formal issues Responsibility for quality assurance, technical examinations as well as the preparation and further development of test templates, process and work instructions Execution of vehicle tests on test sites or laboratories Observation, interpretation and implementation of legal and normative requirements in the technical service Support in government communication, naming surveys and the further development of normative processes and structures Participation in training, mentoring and professional development of signatures Own-sponsored cooperation in projects for the further development of services, processes and technical structures Support in the development and further development of the technical service and representation in relevant specialist formats Representative of the GTÜ in professional bodies, audits, academy activities, partner events or external specialist formats

Qualification as a signature holder in the Technical Service (USB), ideally with experience in the field of type-approval, officially recognised expert (aaaS) or officially recognised expert with partial powers (aaaSmT) Funded technical understanding and secure sense of legal and regulatory requirements Multiannual practical experience in the technical test environment, ideally in the homologation-related area High readiness and motivation for further development in regulatory and technical topics Joy of advice, knowledge transfer and partnership cooperation Structured, quality-oriented and independent working willingness to combine operational expertise with project work and further development Communication strength, readiness and motivation to actively shape the technical service
