You are responsible for the operational and strategic procurement of raw materials and surface treatment processes and ensure the reliable supply of complex production processes To this end, you conduct the entire ordering process independently from the demand analysis to the order confirmation in our goods management system by You work closely with the areas of development, quality and production to translate technical requirements, specifications and changes early into procurement strategies and supplier decisions You analyse materials, processes and cost structures (e.g. materials, coating processes, process chains) and derive optimization, substitution and dual-sourcing approaches from this You control and develop suppliers both technically and economically, conduct audits and ensure quality and delivery performance sustainably You conduct price and contract negotiations independently, use your scope for action to economically and technically optimally design procurement and prepare further decisions based on

Completed commercial vocational training or a comparable qualification, supplemented by relevant, subject-related training (e.g. purchasing, technology, material management, etc.) Reliable professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing in an industrial environment, ideally related to raw materials and/or surface treatment processes Practical, technical understanding of materials, manufacturing and coating processes as well as their impact on quality, cost and delivery. experience in dealing with suppliers and in preparation or Implementation of negotiations, including cost and market considerations.
