The apartment 2 is located in Neukölln-Britz in a quiet residential street with small gardens nearby and is connected to public transport (bus and subway). 34 adult people with mental and sometimes multiple disabilities live in six predominantly mixed-sex occupied housing groups. Each group consists of five to six clients: women with different disabilities. In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a pedagogical specialist (m/w/d) in Neukölln ID: 312 in part time, between 10 and 30 hours/week at the next possible time.

Tasks You are actively involved in the design of content and organizational processes of the institution and ensure a high-quality support in the team: • Assistance of clients: in daily life, taking into account their personal wishes • Support for clients in crisis situations in cooperation with internal and external experts • Care and execution of medical regulations • individual support in body care if required • if necessary Administration of medicines by medical arrangement and corresponding documentation

Requirements • Complete training (3 years) in medical education, education, nursing, health care and nursing, physiotherapy, ergotherapy or a completed university degree in the health or social field • first practical experience in disabled assistance desirable, not condition • Empathy in dealing with physically and/or mentally disabled people • Interest in current developments in disabled education (empowerment, inclusion, person-centric approach, assistance) • EDV knowledge (ideal experience with computer-based documentation) • Flexibility and organisational, team and conflictability • Want to work in a multi-professional team • Willingness to work in the shift system with early and late services, weekends and holidays • readiness to work across groups • Class B licence desirable
