As a motor vehicle engineer in the focus of passenger car technology (m/w/d), you ensure that the vehicles of our customers are in a technically perfect condition. The exciting mix of electrical, vehicle and system techniques will never make you boring. With modern computer techniques, you develop fault diagnosis or use the appropriate tool to assemble a variety of assemblies. In the first two years of training, you can expect basic training contents, while from the third year of apprenticeship the deepening content will follow the training focus of passenger cars. Analysis of electronic, electrical and mechanical systems Investigation and diagnosis of errors and disturbances (e.g. reading out error memories, testing the vehicles for traffic safety) Waiting and repairing cars (e.g. components of engine management) Check the component functions during and after repair retrofitting of special equipment, accessories and additional systems (e.g. trailer couplings, heaters, navigation systems) Using modern workshop information and communication systems (e.g. reprogramming of control units)

Training allowance: The training allowance varies depending on the company and the collective wage.
