Quality Assurance Employee in Steel Bridge Construction (m/f/d)

The task for employees:in quality assurance, the focus is on the non-destructive testing of materials and weld seams (ZfP) and, if necessary, the monitoring, testing and documentation of the professional production and execution of corrosion protection work in steel structures in steel bridge construction.

• Within your activity, you mainly conduct non-destructive material and weld seam tests including the associated documentation according to the normative requirements for demanding steel structures in the area of bridge construction.

• In accordance with your operational function, you are responsible for production-accompanying checks (ZfP) and the final acceptance to ensure compliance with the order-related quality requirements in steel construction.

• In addition, you control the receipt of goods from externally processed components as well as the execution of steel construction and possibly Anti-corrosion work for post-contractors: inside and on our construction sites.

• With regard to questions of non-destructive testing, you work with other areas of expertise.

• Together with the building supervisors: inside the client you act actively in the removal of the component.

• In addition to carrying out and logging weld and corrosion protection tests, the activity also includes general quality assurance in the production areas of the blank, assembly, welding and, where appropriate, Corrosion protection.

• Depending on the level of knowledge and qualification, you can support the monitoring and testing of corrosion protection.

• You have a tester qualification for non-destructive material and weld seam testing according to DIN EN ISO 9712, step 2 in the visual inspection (VT), ultrasound testing (UT) and magnetic powder testing (MT).

• Even if existing professional experience is desirable, we also give professional beginners a chance.

• Additional tester qualifications such as colour penetration methods (PT) and radiation testing (RT, film evaluation) are advantageous.

• Furthermore, practical knowledge of welding technology (steel construction, mechanical engineering, etc.) is advantageous.

• It would be desirable for you to bring a qualification as a column leader:in / KOR-Schein ZTV-ING or as a coating inspector:in with corresponding professional experience in steel construction or steel bridge construction, also the willingness to further training should be present in the technical field.

• You can express yourself in an oral and written way, ideally possess Polish and/or English knowledge.

• Occupied missions to our construction sites and to after-contractors: in order to ensure, in addition to monitoring during production, corrosion protection and welding technology monitoring.
