(Senior) Systemadministrator DB2 z/OS (m/f/d)

You are responsible for a stable and economical operation of the central DB2 z/OS database systems and the associated additional products. Your tasks include the installation, configuration and maintenance of necessary database addition products. You are responsible for providing and trouble-free operation of database procedures such as backup, recovery, recovery, etc. As a competent contact person for all database questions, you advise our application developers, tune with you and perform the matched object changes in the test, acceptance and production environments. You implement and provide test data management procedures for our application, specialist and load tests including alienation. Through appropriate monitoring, you will ensure a stable and performant operation.

You have a successful degree in IT, a comparable training or comparable relevant professional experience. You bring advanced experience in the operation and administration of central database systems on the IBM Mainframe. Know-how and experience on the IBM and BMC database utilities as well as REXX, JCL, JES, SMP/E, SQL, Cobol, Java etc. are of course for you. Strong customer and service orientation as well as pleasure in team work are yours. You have very good German knowledge in word and writing (min. B2/C1 level).
