The SOS Children's Village Bremen – Children, Youth and Family Assistance is an institution with differentiated offers in the fields of education, school-related projects and open community work. For our SOS Children's Village Bremen we are looking for a Social teacher / educator for children's groups Werdersee in permanent employment, part-time (33 hours/Where.) In our children's group Werdersee in the SOS Children's Village Bremen, we offer children from 6 years old a loving family-like environment in a 7-story group and accompany young people with educational needs-oriented through individual support for growing up and growing up. The round-the-clock assignment by our educational team is designed to ensure that the important references are continuously available to children. The services are implemented in the short, medium and long term. The close cooperation with the parents, which are integrated as far as possible into the everyday life of the children, takes a special role. Ideally, this allows a return of the child to the home. If a return is not possible, the children will stay in the group or change to an age group within our institution. We are looking for a dedicated colleague who wants to support our multi-professional team of eight educational professionals in the loving care of children. Design and organize the everyday life of children from 6 years onwards with everything that makes a family home You contribute to education and assistance planning and their implementation. Through your pedagogical work, you are specifically promoting child autonomy through participation instruments. For children and adults, you are a stable and reliable reference person. You motivate, comfort, negotiate, support, lead and lose - even if it goes turbulent - not the overview. For the children we wish to have a trustworthy and reliable relationship work and an appreciation cooperation with the members of the system of origin. You pay attention to the conscientious implementation of child and care protection.

You have a degree as an educator or a university degree as a social education teacher. Ideally, you have (first) professional experience in pedagogical work with children and/or in a stationary offer of youth assistance. Team skills and commitment are yours. You possess the ability to work independently. You can get in touch with children and adolescents well and are also able to deal with conflicts and behavioural vulnerabilities to creative and constructive solutions. You have good reflectivity towards their own behaviour and are open to flexible working hours . The readiness for all-the-clock support incl. We presuppose night willingness. Your handling of proximity and distance to the representatives is professional.
