For the location in Varel, we are looking for a supply officer (m/w/d) for operational purchasing at the next time as part of the employee transfer.

This position shall be fixed within the framework of a long-term project operation until 31 December 2027.

You control the operating purchasing process from the demand determination via the order release to the timely material supply. Material master data and relevant control parameters are maintained in the SAP system and ensure high data quality along the supply chain. In case of delivery bottlenecks or availability problems, you will initiate appropriate measures, identify alternative solutions and create meaningful status reports. Suppliers actively support, conduct consultations and process challenges such as delivery delays, quality deviations or invoice errors. In multifunctional teams and projects, you work closely with purchasing, logistics, production and other areas of expertise and support the continuous optimization of procurement processes.

You have completed commercial, technical or logistical training or studies in the field of business, engineering, supply chain management or a comparable field of expertise. Multiannual professional experience in purchasing, in material procurement, logistics, production planning or supply chain. The safe handling of SAP MM/SD as well as digital applications such as Google Workspace is part of your professional everyday life. Analytical thinkability, a structured way of working as well as pronounced communication and conflict resolution capabilities are the key features. You like to work in the team, act solution-oriented and communicate in a safe manner in German and English.
