System Operator IT (m/f/d)

IT Operations & Infrastructure: Together with the team, you are responsible for the stable and reliable operation of our IT – from server infrastructure to client service. First Level and Client Support: You are the first respondent to emerging IT problems in the company, analyzes concerns structured and supports our colleagues pragmatically and solution-oriented. Server environment: You enter and develop our Windows and Linux-based operating environment, such as Active Directory/EntraID, WSUS, DHCP and DNS. Microsoft Azure, Virtualization & Hosting: You support Azure IaaS and take part in cloud and customer hosting and support towards DevOps. Monitoring, maintenance & documentation: You help to monitor, control systems and processes in a transparent manner and to document requirements according to our ISMS or ISO 27001 and to keep operational processes comprehensible. Automation & Efficiency: You use scripting/automatization to solve recurring challenges more efficiently and to relieve processes in the team. Further development of the operating strategy: You bring your own ideas, actively shape the infrastructure environment and contribute to continuously developing our IT. Security & reliability: You work with a clear view of information security, stability and data protection, thereby supporting the high reliability of our systems. Collaboration: You work closely with our development teams to introduce operational requirements at an early stage, improve technical processes and make recurring tasks more efficient by suitable automation.

Must-haves: Qualification: You have a completed, IT-related study, a training as a professional informant, or a comparable qualification. You are also welcome as a cross-comerin with corresponding experience. Practical experience: You bring first professional experience in IT support and/or IT administration, Know How in the server area: You are familiar with current Windows and Linux server systems regarding the installation, configuration and maintenance of an internal operating environment. Virtualization & Containerization: You have experience in operating web applications on virtual servers, ideally with Vmware/KVM/Qemu/Docker. Service orientation: You communicate clearly, friendly and binding and are delighted to support colleagues in technical matters. Structured procedure: You are systematically going to the ground, documenting comprehensible and keeping track of parallel issues. Languages: You communicate fluently in German in word and writing and safely in English (at least in C1 level). attitude: You are open to new things, bring your own ideas and at the same time have a good sense of what solution is practical and sensible at the concrete moment. Nice-to-have: Cloud experience: You already have touch points with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud environments. Scripting & programming: You have experience with at least one script language and/or an object-oriented programming language, such as Powershell, Bash or Python. Linux/Unix: You have experiences in Linux or Unix environments (Debian/Ubuntu, Redhat, BSD or comparable). Monitoring: You know tools like Icinga/Nagios, Grafana or Graylog or have experience with comparable monitoring solutions. Hardware & Network: You have experience in the hardware environment, such as server and SAN systems, hardware firewalls (sophos) or network hardware such as routers and switches. IT security awareness: You have a good understanding of secure IT operating processes, patch management, access rights and careful handling of sensitive data.
