The Klinikum Landau-Südliche Weinstraße has a total of 399 flat beds. The medical spectrum of the clinic includes the departments General and Visceral Surgery, Accident, Hand and Orthopaedic Surgery, Internal Medicine with Gastroenterology, Diabetology, Hepatology, Cardiology, Stroke Unit, Pneumology, Palliative and Age Medicine, Endocrinology, Conservative Orthopaedics, Anesthesia and Intensive Medicine, HNO-Heilkunde, The clinic has supply difficulties in the fields of gastroenterology, geriatrics, cardiology (24-hour readiness service of the heart catheter laboratory), palliative medicine, Stroke Unit (regional stroke unit), visceral surgery and is a diabeological center and local trauma center. Every year in the Klinikum Landau-Südliche Weinstraße approx. 12,000 stationary and approximately 34,000 outpatient patients treated. We're looking for 01. January 2027 for our clinic in Landau Senior Consultant (m/w/d) The Department of Internal Medicine – Cardiology together with the heart and vascular centre Landau MVZ GmbH Dr. Hörmann, Dr. Fries and colleagues as well as the cardiological practice Dr. Pollert & colleagues form the heart centre of Landau. This complementary cooperation enables a wide range of cardiological treatments, which includes all current studies of non-invasive and invasive cardiology. Thus, a plurality of diagnostic and therapeutic methods can be used to detect and treat diseases of the heart, lung or vascular system. The Department of Internal Medicine – Cardiology has 52 beds. A monitoring station (IMC) with 16 monitor beds is available. The cardiological department is attached to the Stroke Unit. Intensive medical care is carried out together with the anesthesiological department of the house in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit. The department offers a wide range of cardiological functional and imaging diagnostics including 3D-echocardiography, TEE, long-term ECG, ergometry, full-body plethysmography, stress echocardiography, pacemaker and defibrillator care, etc. for the diagnosis and treatment of stationary patients. Radological diagnostics (CT, MRT, scintigraphy) are carried out in cooperation with a radiological practice attached to the home. Conventional X-ray diagnostics are provided by an in-house X-ray team with appropriate equipment. As the head physician of internal medicine – cardiology, you are responsible for all clinical, organizational and strategic issues of the department.

Your tasks include: Responsible medical care of cardiological patients at the general and monitoring station Independent implementation and monitoring of cardiological function diagnosis and interventional interventions Takeover of tasks in intensive medical care and stroke care Senior Consultant (m/w/d) and Assistant Consultant (m/w/d) Ensuring and further developing high medical quality and treatment standards according to the current guidelines Analysis, control and continuous optimization of clinical and administrative workflows to increase efficiency Active cooperation in commissions and bodies of our clinic network Efficient planning and control (bed occupancy, residence time etc.) and appropriate DRG documentation Participation in the hospital's internalist call readiness service

To take over this responsible role, you should have the following profile: Senior Consultant (m/w/d) You have broad clinical experience and several years of professional experience in obercive function of a cardiological clinic You have extensive experience in invasive and non-invasive cardiology You control cardiological function diagnosis and have appropriate knowledge of internalist intensive medicine You can think organizationally and interdisciplinary and have the willingness to continuously develop clinical processes You maintain a cooperative leadership style, have very good communication skills and can motivate and sustainably develop employees

The grouping and remuneration are carried out transparently in accordance with the provisions of the TV doctor/VKA in the pay group IV (head physician). The step assignment depends on your predictable medical experience. The collective agreement is publicly visible. The clinics are conveniently located in the commercial areas Ludwigshafen/Mannheim/Heidelberg and Karlsruhe in the middle of the scenic southern Palatinate in the border area of France. .
