Deputy Head of Property / Personnel*in Finance & Grants Where figures create the future: In the garden and civil engineering office, we combine strategic financial planning with sustainable urban development – and make decisions that strengthen Freiburg in the long term.

Finance & funding under control: You take care of the GuT's grant issues on your own - from the approval decision on the proof of use for financial management and communicate with the grantors, e.g. grants for bike paths, bus stops, road projects, personnel costs or refurbishment and urban development programmes. Planning and execution from a cast: You actively engage in the establishment and implementation of the financial budget with approximately 40 million. EUR p.a. with – including multiannual investment planning, budgeting, budget monitoring and reporting. Set up templates and decision-relevant documents – e.g. requests for funds, approvals of planning rates – and represent financial impacts transparently. Guided tour with perspective: You represent the management of the property with a team of 8 dedicated employees in absences.

You have a career qualification for the senior management service, the employee examination II or a degree as an administrative professional with relevant professional experience. You have already gained practical experience in the NKHR and in the local financial sector and provide sound knowledge in budgetary and accounting as well as business principles. Ideally, you know yourself in municipal law and in the execution of grant projects and master SAP as well as MS Office – especially Excel – safely. You are accumulating challenges with a solution-oriented way of working and enjoying learning new things and developing you. You also keep a cool head in more intense phases and you communicate clearly, respectfully and convincingly – both internally and externally. You like to work networked and in the team, get active and strengthen cooperation.
