Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking for our headquarters in Langenhagen near Hannover Position:

Advice, operational management and implementation of all customs matters Monitoring, analysis and evaluation of current and future EU external trade regulations and implementation of necessary measures Conducting and monitoring export control Contact person for internal teams in customs matters and communication with supervisory authorities Implementation of internal audits/audits and operational supervision of the responsible persons Construction, implementation and monitoring of internal control and monitoring processes Development and monitoring of relevant work and organisational instructions Building, implementing and monitoring an Internal Compliance Program (ICP) Advice and support in the operational handling of imports and exports Ensuring the proper use of the ATLAS customs system Maintenance and verification of customs-relevant master data Current reporting on deviations and derivation and implementation of improvement measures

Successfully completed commercial training, e.g. as an industrial merchant, freight forwarder, wholesaler and foreign trader (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification with further training on customs Multiannual experience in customs First professional experience in the abovementioned field of activity Secure handling of MS Office products and an ERP system (probably Microsoft Business Central) Very good English skills in word and writing Targeted, forward-looking and independent work Teamability, resilience, strong organizational skills and a high degree of self-initiative
