Research Assistant - Dysphagia Research (m/f/d)

The research project DysphAISENS is funded by the BMFTR and conducted at the University Dysphagie Center of the Clinic for Hearing, Voting and Linguistic Medicine. The aim of the project is to develop a multimodal sensor system for automated detection and classification of swallowing disorders (dysphagy) using methods of machine learning. The working group has many years of expertise in dysphagia research, in particular in neurological diseases, and in carrying out the flexible-endoscopic swallowing examination (FEES). In addition, you will participate in further research projects of the clinic; a regular scientific meeting of the working group also offers room for technical exchange and the joint development of scientific questions and projects. Substantial preparatory work has already been published internationally. Your tasks: Data collection, management, preparation and statistical analysis Support for students:inside Coordination of clinical tasks in the project consortium and cooperation with the partners: Accompanying the FEES and VFS by study protocol Evaluation of scientific publications Participation in international scientific publications and congress contributions Participation in the application for follow-up projects This position is limited until 31.12.2028 for third-party funding and is to be filled in part-time with 30.5 hours/where.

At least well completed scientific master's degree in logopedia/language therapy or comparable qualification (enabled admission to doctoral studies) At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in the field of dysphagia and/or neurological diseases Knowledge of quantitative scientific methods Secure use of a statistical software package (R or SPSS) Very good MS Office knowledge Empathic treatment with patients: High level of independent planning and creative own initiative Interprofessional team skills Very good English skills in word and writing
