Design and Brand Consultant (m/f/d)

Your duties In this role you contribute significantly to protecting our brand and design innovations worldwide. You work at the interface of law, innovation and market and thus make a direct contribution to ensuring our competitiveness. Your duties include: Identification and prosecution of design and brand injuries and evaluation of appropriate measures Analysis of online product piracy and support in the enforcement of our intellectual property rights Observing competitive activities and deriving relevant findings for the company Implementation of design and brand research as well as preparation of information, e.g. Coordination of national and international patent applications in close coordination with development, product management and marketing Processing of test decisions for brands and designs together with external patent attorneys Support and further development of the existing brand and design portfolio Cooperation with internal departments and external partners and firms Support in contract management and IP-related projects Ensuring structured documentation and taking over administrative tasks in the IP environment

Training as a patent attorney, lawyer, or comparable qualification, as an alternative completed commercial vocational training or studies with prior knowledge in the above-mentioned field Ideally 2–3 years of professional experience in the IP environment (Kanzlei or Industry) Safe handling of IP databases and relevant search tools, ideally first experience with Memotec Embossed team skills and reliable, committed and independent working Analytical thinkability and ability to prepare results in a comprehensible manner Understanding economic relations in the context of protection rights German and English knowledge in word and writing
