Consultant Digitalization & Automation (m/f/d)

Together with our colleagues, you develop solutions close to the field based on our tool set with VBA & Python. You conceptualize and implement solutions in our specialist processes, creating attractive, tailor-made technical solutions with short-term added value. You evaluate ideas and technologies, build prototypes and implement effective approaches to the control operation. You control the technical development of our tool set. In doing so, you identify the needs and bring our methods and workflows to a new level (e.g. coding standards, software development process...). You are working with colleagues in new technologies and methods (e.g. GitLab/CI, BPM/RPA, GenAI, Kafka). You take part in (partial) project management activities, for example in building and developing the solution architecture, regulatory framework and technical infrastructure. You always have a look at the balance between regulatory and business value, thereby ensuring regulatory compliance. We are looking for a maker that actively shapes the path of our NextLevel strategy to more efficiency and customer centering.

Your basis is a successfully completed university study of mathematics, (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of experience in software development, technical architecture or automation, ideally in the insurance or financial services industry. You have gained experience in projects, we know the management of interfaces and stakeholders in your best hands. A safe handling of at least one programming language, preferably Python or VBA, is self-evident, as is the handling of MS-Excel and SQL. You have already gained experience with IT infrastructure, networks and software development processes, test automation, rollbacks and DevSecOps are not foreign words for you. You have good knowledge of R+V infrastructure and regulatorics, or you have a clear willingness to work quickly into it. Practical experience in the programming of Robotic Process Automation is desirable. Good networking in IT and the ability to translate technical requirements into resilient architectural decisions. Finally, you convince as a communication-strong and creative personality with a structured, analytical vision, a high level of quality awareness and hands-on mentality.
