Civil Engineer

Channel operation and analysis: You are responsible for the operation and continuous optimization of the measuring devices in the basins and in the channel network to ensure their efficiency and reliability. In addition, you are involved in the evaluation of the sewer remote examinations of main channels and side connections and thus contribute to the comprehensive control and analysis of the sewer system. Control management: Within the scope of the own-control regulation, you carry out controls on basins and wastewater systems and ensure that all legal requirements are met. Edit and maintain the documentation to ensure complete traceability and compliance. Refurbishment and maintenance: You guide and monitor interior refurbishment measures as well as repairs to tanks and large profiles and ensure that these plants remain permanently in the optimum state. You will implement all necessary refurbishment measures professionally and efficiently. Operation and emergency management: You actively participate in the introduction of an operating management system that optimizes the efficiency of the operating sequences in channel operation. At the same time, you are regularly ready to intervene quickly and purposefully in case of oil accidents, canal congestion, flood events or during winter services.

Qualification: You have completed university studies, preferably in civil engineering or related fields of study; even if you are close to completion, you should not hesitate with an application. Ideally, you will bring the qualification as a certified channel renovation consultant*in. Expertise: Good computer skills and a class B driving licence complete your profile. Competences: You convince by organisational and negotiation skills, combined with a sovereign appearance. Embossed team skills and a clear, convincing communication – both in writing and oral – are a feature. For bets outside regular working hours, show flexibility.
