Hessen (AKH) is a professional self-government based in Wiesbaden. It represents the interests of around 11,300 architects, interior designers, urban planners and landscape architects at national and federal level and in the European context. With events, exhibitions, print and online media, the board promotes the know-how of the members. It promotes the debate on contemporary architecture and resilient urban development. It advises the award of architectural services and sustainable planning and construction and serves consumer protection by monitoring compliance with the professional obligations of its members. Legal advice from architects, contractors and contracting entities in architects and procurement law, private and public building law as well as internal clients in the boards of the Chamber Advising the architects in questions of professional law Legal design in the field of corporate law Legal representation of interests, in particular in procurement, construction and professional policy Development of opinions on legislative proposals Participation in the work of the committee and after the incorporation of independent control of bodies Care and development of legal-political networks and participation in committees of the Bundesarchitektenkammer

Completion of both legal State Examina (total of at least 12 points) or better) Possibly 3-5 years of professional experience, like in the association or the legal profession Generalist legal establishment focusing on public and private building, architect and award law Legal interest in major transformation trends: digitalization, climate change, intellectual property protection Interest in chamber affairs Ideally at the same time joy in professional publicist activity readiness to travel Interest in and knowledge of political and economic relations Ability to structure and understand complex facts independent systematic working and organisational skills high analysis and communication skills very good oral and written expressiveness Joy in dealing with people in business and politics secure knowledge of common software
