Senior Automation Engineer / Technical Lead Commissioning (Siemens PLC) (m/f/d)

For our customers from the Pharmaceutical Industry, we are looking for an experienced automation engineer (m/w/d), who actively contributes to complex commissioning and automation projects and takes on a leading role within the team. The focus is clearly on the technical work and the joint resolution of challenging challenges in the project environment.

Your main tasks are:

Commissioning & Troubleshooting Active cooperation in commissioning, testing and optimising automated warehouse, conveyor and material flow systems Analysis and sustainable improvement of complex hardware and software disorders Support in the integration of SRMs, conveyor technology, AGVs and other automated systems Development and implementation of solutions to improve plant availability, performance and stability Support for qualification, testing and acceptance activities in the GMP environment Technical Coordination & Engineering Technical contact for technical questions concerning automation, commissioning and system integration Support and professional support of colleagues within the project team Participation in the further development of technical standards, best practices and troubleshooting concepts Takeover of technical responsibility for areas within complex automation projects System integration Integration of automated systems in MES, WMS and site automation systems Support in error analysis and optimization of automation and control solutions Cooperation with suppliers and integration partners in the connection of third-party equipment and special equipment Documentation & stakeholder management Creation and maintenance of technical project and system documentation according to GMP and change management requirements Support for qualification and documentation activities in the regulated pharmaceutical field Close cooperation with engineering, project management, production, quality assurance as well as external partners and suppliers Ensuring regulatory, quality-relevant and safety-related requirements Continuous improvement Identification and implementation of optimization potentials on plants and processes Active knowledge sharing within the team Support in the incorporation and professional development of Engineers

Multiannual professional experience in automation, commissioning or commissioning projects Experience in logistics, intralogistics or comparable highly automated production environments Experience in the pharmaceutical environment and in dealing with GMP requirements, qualification, documentation and compliance processes Knowledge of Siemens SPS systems (SIMATIC S7, TIA Portal) Experience with automated warehouse systems (ASRS), conveyor technology, material flow systems, intralogistics systems or robotics applications Experience in the integration of complex systems and systems and ideally in the environment of MES and/or WMS connections Embossed hand-on mentality as well as pleasure in taking technical responsibility First experience in the technical coordination of projects or teams or the motivation to develop towards Technical Lead Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing for communication in an international project environment
