Number: MER00048WR Since 1919, Sindelfingen has been writing automotive history. Today we are shaping the next stage of our digital transformation: business processes consistently rethink AI-first and replace manual activities with intelligent, automated processes. Our goal is not merely to digitize existing processes. Together with the specialist areas, we ask how processes using artificial intelligence and automation can be redesigned in principle. For this, we analyze existing manual business activities, identify optimization and automation potentials and gradually transfer these into intelligent digital process chains. We combine classic workflow automation with modern AI models and agentic approaches. As a working student, you work at the interface between specialist, process management and technology. You speak directly with process owners, understand their current work and develop new digital solutions together with our team. From the first process recording to the prototype to the implementation of an automated process chain, you can actively shape it. Among other things, we use technologies such as n8n, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents and Python. These challenges include: Recording and structured analysis of manual business processes together with process owners and departments
Identification of activities and process steps with high potential for AI-first optimization and automation
Development of new process concepts with the aim of transferring manual activities as far as possible into automated digital process chains
Development and implementation of automation and intelligent workflows with n8n and Microsoft Copilot Studio
Integration and application of AI models and large language models within complex process chains
Development and testing of prototypes, proof-of-concepts and AI agents for specific business applications
Cooperation with process owners, departments and other relevant stakeholders from the first idea to implementation
Documentation and structured evaluation of existing processes and the developed automation solutions
Evaluation of new technologies and approaches in the fields of Generative AI, Agentic AI and Workflow Automation
