Senior Project Manager – Logistics for the Security and Defense Industry (m/f/d)

With a strategic vision, you are leading logistics projects for the defence and security industry and are central to all project participants from planning to implementation: You will be guided by fast and effective transport, infrastructure and handling solutions for goods relevant to safety and defence. You implement your logistics concepts into reality and develop them strategically. In the planning and implementation phase, you will always have a look at the threads in your hand and schedule, budget and quality. Control and coordinate communication with all national and international actors. You develop risk and crisis management plans and implement appropriate measures.

Their basis is a completed training at the Bundeswehr, e.g.:to the Soldier:in auf Zeit (SaZ) – based on this, you have completed a university degree in the field of logistics, economics, industrial engineering or similar discipline. During your multi-year professional experience in project management, you could successfully use your strategic skills, ideally in logistics for the security and defence industry, strategic mobility or infrastructure planning. Project management certification, e.g. IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2 is advantageous. You are experienced in cooperation with defence-related and civilian partners and know the relevant regulatory framework. In this safety-critical environment, discretion and secrecy, as well as intercultural competence and diplomatic skill are required. Even in demanding situations, you remain resilient and always communicate solution-oriented. For your national and international travel activities, you will bring flexibility and very good language skills in German and English (at least C1).
