Head of Department Dismantling (m/f/d)

General responsibility for the professional, disciplinary, organizational and business management of the department dismantling (about 80 employees in 5 teams) Planning, control and monitoring of all dismantling and rebuilding activities in compliance with statutory, atomic and radiation protection requirements Ensuring a permit-compliant procedure and the proper implementation of all rebuilding and/or Disassembly measures Leadership, development and motivation of interdisciplinary teams from engineers (personal and professional) Responsibility for radiation protection, occupational safety and safe operation of demolition and process equipment (destruction technology) Implementation of legal and operational requirements for comprehensive health, work and fire protection Coordination of interfaces to internal areas, authorities, experts and external partners Quality assurance and approval of work processes and technical documentation Creation, testing and evaluation of technical reports and opinions on authorities and experts Participation in the creation and further development of operational and procedural instructions, in particular with regard to reconstruction processes, radiation protection measures and safety requirements Ensuring regular, standard-compliant testing, maintenance and documentation of the systems and measuring systems used Preparation and management of specialist discussions and consultations Support in assessing technical and legal requirements in various projects Planning, procurement and support of materials, equipment and services for dismantling and demolition measures Budget responsibility and cost and resource management of the department

Qualification: Completed technical engineering studies at master or diploma level – e.g. in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, technical physics or a comparable scientific-technical field Knowledge and experience: Multiannual professional experience in the technical environment, ideally in nuclear rebuilding or in safety-critical industries Management experience of technical teams as well as strong competence in managing complex technical projects Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and radiation protection regulations (e.g. StrlSchG, StrlSchV, AtG) are advantageous Experience in cooperation with authorities, reviewers and approval bodies Safe handling of quality management systems and relevant standards (e.g. ...) Routine technical documentation and reporting Personal competencies: High sense of responsibility, rapid understanding of technical issues Leadership, Enforcement and Communication Strength Ability to coordinate complex tasks with internal and external stakeholders Large design will, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Analytical and strategic thinking Willingness to further education and service travel
