Your tasks Together with your team, you will ensure that our product teams can rely on a stable, safe and performant infrastructure at any time – from the hardware in the rack to the service You use via self-service. In detail, your tasks are: Operation, development and lifecycle management of our virtualization platform, as well as red Hat virtualization/oVirt (KVM) administration of our SAN/Storage landscape incl. FC-Fabric, Zoning and LUN-Mapping for heterogeneous hosts as well as capacity and expansion planning Conception, implementation and regular testing of backup and disaster recovery procedures – so that we are able to quickly re-act in the data center: procurement, installation and expansion, initial configuration and EOL build-tracking as well as planning and implementation of maintenance Participation in the qualification of infrastructure in the regulated medical technology environment

Complete study of computer science or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in the operation of data center infrastructure – as a T-shaped generalist: with a width over virtualization, storage and network and depth in at least one of these fields KVM – a strong KVM/Linux foundation is enough for us, the rest you learn with us Very good knowledge in VMware vSphere/ESXi Solid SAN/Storage basics (FC-Fabric, Zoning, LUN-Mapping, Array-Administration) – Your cross-manufacturer understanding is more important to us than experience with a particular manufacturer Experience with Solaris or other Unix derivatives (e.g. AIX, HP-UX) knowledge of automation and infrastructure as code, e.g. Ansible or Terraform experience with a lived documentation and runbook culture experience in regulated environments Do you not meet any point?
