Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Wernau (Neckar) As a technical editor, you are responsible for the strategic design and construction of a high-quality multimedia product information portfolio. Your goal is to provide our specialist customers (installers, installers, electricians:inside) and end users with clear, precise and appealing information. You drive forward the optimization of our information processes, from the modular data generation to the cross-media publication. For this purpose, you develop and test our CCMS systems functionally and customer-oriented, for example by implementing intelligent re-use concepts and automated process steps. This ensures maximum efficiency and ease of use of the tools. You are responsible for defining and implementing editorial standards, including stylesheets, templates and process descriptions, as well as ensuring their consistent compliance. As an expert or Experts share your knowledge and train internal and external technical editors and editors in the established processes and systems. You work closely and across departments with internal teams (development, product management, quality, law) as well as international editorial teams to ensure a coherent and high-quality documentation. In addition to active introduction into company-wide projects, you will take over the control and briefing of external editorial and translation service providers. Last but not least, you play a central role in the introduction of a new Component Content Management System (CCMS) and the design of all accompanying process steps to maximize the efficiency of our documentation creation.

Education: completed studies (master or diploma) with a focus on technical editorial, multimedia documentation or comparable Experience and know-how: multiannual professional experience as a technical:r editor:in; safe handling of XML-based editorial systems (in particular Scheme ST4, TIM InfoManager, Adobe FrameMaker); experience in template creation; knowledge of XML, XSLT, HTML; confidentiality with standardization methods (e.g. functional design); practical experience with editorial system introductions or editorial system change; Knowledge of SAP Personality and mode of operation: You can precisely analyze and process complex technical issues in a comprehensible manner, always keeping the user perspective in mind and actively introducing you into the optimization of processes; Communication and flexibility are your strengths Working day: readiness to travel Languages: German and English
