State-recognised social pedagogue or social worker (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) Social competence that makes the difference in the hospital From 2027, the Klinikum Darmstadt and the AGAPLESION ELISABETHENSTIFT together as Südhessen Kliniken will shape health care in Darmstadt and Südhessen. A common maximum provider is created from two traditional houses at the campus Mitte and campus Woog. With around 1,300 flatbeds, the Südhessen clinics become the second largest hospital in Hessen. The combination creates a strong health association with a wide range of services – from highly complex intensive care to outpatient interventions to modern hybrid services. At the same time, we are investing in training, continuing training and creating new perspectives for our employees. Why hospital social service? Social advice: You advise and accompany patients and their relatives on social, personal and social issues. Dismissal management: You support the organization of the connection supply and, together with all stakeholders, ensure that you continue to supply them with the right requirements. Social law: You advise on services and claims and support the application of appropriate assistance. Network work: You coordinate cooperation with external consultancy agencies, authorities, cost-beneficiaries and other service partners. Interprofessional cooperation: You work closely with the medical service, care, therapy and other professional groups. Documentation: You carry out the necessary documentation of your consulting and support services. Quality: You are involved in the further development of structures, processes and quality standards in social services. Your basis: Complete study of social work or social education (B.A. / M.A. / Diploma) with state recognition. Your experience: Ideally professional experience in the clinical or social medical field. Your expertise: good knowledge of social law and safe handling of social law issues. Your personality: You are empathic, communication-strong and have a pronounced empathy. Your work: You work structured, independent, responsible and solution-oriented. Your collaboration: You like to work in an interdisciplinary way and actively engage in a multi-professional team.
