Cyber Security Engineer – Platform & Cloud* (m/f/d)

You develop our vulnerability management (tenable) for servers, clients, network and cloud components and plan, perform and evaluate regular vulnerability scans. You consolidate and analyze scan results risk-based and prioritize Findings using Threat intelligence. You develop targeted remediation recommendations, transfer them to tickets and work with the operating teams to join. You coordinate and perform patches partially independently on Windows/Linux/Client systems, align patch windows with change management and disciplines and support emergency matching, including documentation and tracking. You build KPIs such as patch compliance, MTTR for critical vulnerabilities and scan coverage levels, create evaluations and reports. You work closely with the CSE team to synchronize infrastructure and application matching and thus increase throughput times, quality and audit resistance throughout the entire recovery process.

You have completed training or studies in the IT field or bring an equivalent, relevant professional experience. You have multi-year practice in server/platform operation (Windows, Linux) and/or in technical IT security. You work safely with vulnerability management tools (e.g. Tenable, Qualys) as well as patch management solutions and set them targeted. You have a solid basic understanding of network and cloud architectures (e.g. Azure) as well as common curing requirements. You work structured, process- and documentation-oriented and are characterized by high reliability. You cooperate constructively with different operating teams and pragmatically convey security requirements; ideally bring you experience in regulated environments and familiarity with DORA. You communicate perfectly in German.
