... there are around 150 dedicated employees working for people in different situations of life in the regions of Zwickau and Erzgebirge. After successful cooperation with the Caritas for Chemnitz and Mittelsachsen as well as the Caritas in Vogtland, we will soon extend our activities with some 350 employees to the regions Chemnitz, Mittelsachsen and Vogtland. As a newly merged association, we combine growing structures with new perspectives – with the aim of shaping social work sustainable, professional and close to the needs of our regions.

For 30 years the social pedagogical family helpers of the Caritasverband Familie in Zwickau and the surrounding area have been on their way. We support and support families, single parents and other caregivers based on SGBVIII.

Your main tasks

• Support in managing everyday problems (structured daily routine, nutrition, health, hygiene, etc.)
• Strengthening education skills and advice on general education issues
• Self-responsible help planning based on the current performance description
• Accompanying the perception of KiTa, school, doctor or doctor Authorities appointments
• Help in returning children to their families after foreign accommodation

Assessing a personality that...

• a (special) university degree in social work, social education or a comparable degree
• has team skills, social and communication skills
• loadable and flexible as well as self-responsibility

Beyond that:

• Experience in the field of educational assistance
• Experience in working with children and young people
• Class B driving licence and willingness to use own cars for service purposes
• Identification with the objectives and tasks of the Caritas
