We are looking for supply chain management in the field of semiconductor manufacturing equipment ''Senior Sourcing Manager Software Engineering (m/w/x)'' at Jena, Roßdorf or Oberkochen:

strategic and tactical responsibility for the procurement of specific software solutions or Development services and licenses and cloud services in compliance with budget requirements

Implementation of sourcing requirements in close exchange with the corresponding demand carriers and interfaces

Expansion and maintenance of the internal stakeholder network, in particular on R&D

Contribution to the design of the relevant category strategy in the field of software engineering and therefore essential interface to the suppliers and partners

leading role in contract negotiations with national and international partners

intensive cooperation with development, legal and IT security to ensure quality, compliance and IP protection

Analysis of the global procurement market, identification of suitable suppliers and evaluation and development of partnerships, technological trends and associated active supplier management (including the establishment and maintenance of long-term strategic supplier relationships)

Responsibility for the development and implementation of general and project-specific supplier development measures in cooperation with the appropriate interfaces

significant control and optimization of procurement processes

a successfully completed study in the fields of business, computer science or commercial-technical training with adequate additional training

many years of professional experience in supply chain management, ideally in purchasing software services

good knowledge of service and work contracts and employee transfer

high intercultural competence as well as a pronounced, analytical mindset

strong team, communication and organisational capabilities as well as excellent and proven negotiating and enforcement capabilities

Hands-on mentality and implementation strength of both routine and innovative, strategic tasks

good SAP knowledge and sound knowledge about programming and software development

knowledge of German and English in word and writing

readiness for national and international missions
