CAMO Engineer (m/f/d)

As an employee in fleet management / CAMO – Engineer (w/m/d), you are an integral part of our team that ensures the operational readiness of the ADAC helicopter fleet. You take responsibility for a part of our fleet, especially for the helicopter types EC135 and BK117. To strengthen our team we are looking for two CAMO Engineers (w/m/d). One of the two positions additionally includes the representation of the manager maintenance and deployment planning.

Monitoring the readiness to deploy – you ensure the operational readiness of our ADAC helicopter fleet (EC135 and BK117). For this purpose, you continuously monitor the assigned aircraft, evaluate their technical status and coordinate necessary measures to ensure availability. Digital monitoring and fleet management systems help you create transparency about the current fleet status and respond quickly to changes. Airworthiness Management and regulatory requirements - You are responsible for requesting repair instructions for TC/STC holders and the timely extension of the Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC) for the EC135 and BK117 models. You can secure complete documentation and use digital systems to track applications, permits and regulatory deadlines. Digitalization and Process Optimization - You identify optimization potentials in existing processes and actively promote the further development of digital solutions in the Continuing Airworthiness Management segment. By analyzing technical data, systems and processes, you make an important contribution to higher fleet availability and support data-based decisions. Airworthiness monitoring and maintenance assignment - You monitor compliance with airworthiness-relevant requirements, coordinate the assignment of maintenance measures and take care of the resting time in the yard. Support and Representation of the Manager Maintenance and Operation Planning - You support the maintenance and deployment planning manager in the strategic and operational planning of shipyard stays of our helicopter fleet. You coordinate maintenance windows, tune capacity with the yards and ensure an optimal balance between fleet availability and technical requirements. In the case of representation, you take the control and disposition of the aircraft for planned maintenance measures as well as the associated communication with all relevant stakeholders.

The theory sits – you have well-founded experience in CAMO or in maintenance, you ideally bring an EASA PART 66 B1/B2 license or you have a completed university degree in the field of aerospace and in a comparable field: Know-How – You bring knowledge of EASA regulations in special Part-M and Part-CAMO. IT know-how – You are characterized by secure user knowledge in MS Office, Power BI and in handling AI technologies. Professional experience – You have already gained first experience in a CAMO or in the Part-145 operation. Ideally, you have completed the pattern course on EC135 or BK117. Communication – You have a strong communication capability, a high level of commitment and good analytical and conceptual skills.
