We are looking for: Projektmanager (m/w/d) The city of Osnabrück intends to establish its activities in a future-proof manner and to contribute to economically stable, resource-saving and community-oriented global development. For this purpose, the project “Coordination of Municipal Development Policy” (KEpol) develops a sustainability report for Osnabrück, supports the introduction of sustainable procurement in the Stadt Group through concrete measures and initiates development partnerships with the Global South.

The city of Osnabrück anchors global sustainable development at local level with commitment. The ongoing project “Coordination of Local Development Policy” (KEpol) promotes fair procurement in the City Group, strengthens the (inter)communal exchange to implement the 2030 Agenda on global partnerships and pilots a digital sustainability reporting (VLR). The aim is the strategic design and implementation of development policy measures in the local and international context. The place at a glance

Area of employment: It is a full-time job with a weekly working time of 39 hours. In principle, the job can be occupied by part-time workers in supplementary working hours. Please specify the required range of jobs in the application.

As a coordinator/coordinator coordinating body for municipal development policy, you are implementing the project in the Executive Board of the Mayor. Your tasks include: Development and establishment of sustainability reporting for the city of Osnabrück Exchange, networking and cooperation with local and intercommunal actors on Agenda 2030 and Fair Trade Designing and raising awareness of local government staff and local participations in social-ecological procurement through the development and supply of training, specialist days and consultations Conception and moderation of a round table with relevant representatives from administration, business, science and civil society for information on and discussion of partnerships with municipalities of the Global South Development, organisation and implementation of thematic events and work and network meetings including accompanying public and press work Project management and development

You have completed university studies, preferably within the scope of the task, and can already demonstrate experience in the implementation, control and controlling of projects.
