Senior Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you support the team in timely payroll accounting and actively introduce suggestions to optimize processes and systems to increase the efficiency of payroll accounting. Maintenance of payment accounting software, ensuring data quality and processing of error logs in compliance with statutory regulations and corporate guidelines Support for complex questions on wage tax, social security and labour law issues Communication with pension and health insurance companies, insurance companies and authorities as well as internal interfaces on accounting issues Working with the Lead Payroll team to check and implement system updates in SAP Global View and other system interfaces that affect payroll accounting compilation and analysis of ad-hoc and standard evaluations and performance of data validations; Participation in audits and support in monthly and annual work Project work in process and system optimization in the field of pay accounting and in cooperation with other HR areas

studies in human resources management, economics with a focus on human resources management; as an alternative to commercial vocational training with additional qualification (living and salary book holder or tax specialist) At least 4 years of professional experience in pay billing Very good knowledge of tax and social security law, especially in connection with reporting and communication with authorities and social security institutions Very good knowledge of a payroll accounting software, ideally in SAP HR; Knowledge of Workday HCM is beneficial High level of analytical skills and outcome-oriented behavior as well as a structured, independent, careful and service-oriented way of working Good communication skills in English and German (orally & written)
