As head of the development and innovation business segment, you play a key role in the strategic and technological orientation of aov IT.Services – your business area is the core of all development services. The development expertise of your team, your coordination excellence and your good sense of opportunities, trends and feasibility are required in the further development of the extensive service portfolio. As part of the management, you will advise the management of the strategic corporate orientation. Strategy, Innovation & Portfolio: With far-sightedness, you keep thinking of your own in connection with the other business areas – along the corporate strategy you act “before the wave”. You advance the technological development of the service portfolio, develop future topics such as AI, cloud architectures and automation solutions, and build innovation structures – in close cooperation with partners, customers and other business areas GIS, ERP solutions and data center. Economic management: You are responsible for the results, revenues, resources and investments of your business field within the framework of the economic plan, the monthly accounts and the ongoing project controlling and provide sound basis for the management. With your input, you support the design of all company-wide development and innovation projects. Leadership: Your team management and employees (approx. 20) from the software development and project management divisions will guide you professionally, disciplinaryly and always at eye level. You select strategic partners and suppliers, negotiate terms and build sustainable cooperation networks. Risk and Compliance: As a risk controller: for your business field and compliance officer: the company secures the standards along legal and internal requirements, in particular with regard to data protection, information security and ISMS policies.

For this function, which manages development projects and transformation processes alike, you can be as suitable with a degree from computer science/business informatics as with a background of business administration or project management – it is important that you penetrate commercial structures as deeply as IT processes. With multi-year leadership experience in the IT environment, you can demonstrate success in the development, control and market launch of innovative IT solutions and business models, are confident in project management in the context of agile development processes and with modern IT and cloud architectures as well as current technology trends. Your approaches are strategic and entrepreneurial, you like to take over management and leadership responsibility and keep an eye on economic goals, resources and risks. You are characterised by a high level of implementation and understand the transfer of strategic objectives into concrete operational fields of action, projects and measurable results. In this interface function you can convince with communication, negotiation and presentation strength as well as with a sovereign and binding appearance towards employees, customers, partners and suppliers.
