The clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics in the Humboldt Clinic treats the entire spectrum of psychiatric diseases and specializes in affective disorders such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders. A multi-professional team with different focus areas ensures a differentiated and specialized supply in stations, day clinics and outpatient clinics. In addition, the clinic is responsible for the supply of acute psychiatric and medical emergencies in the area of Reinickendorf. You can choose from the following areas when filling out the application form:

Station 1 – Safewards Station: Protected emergency and crisis intervention area with integrated medical focus. Treatment of mental illnesses and possible personal/interest risk according to the Safewards model. Focus on relationship work and promoting everyday skills

Station 2 – Gerontopsychiatrie: Diagnostics and therapy of mental and neurodegenerative diseases in the higher age of life (e.g. dementia). need-oriented care with delirpreventive and day-structuring measures as well as promoting mobility and resources in everyday life; 27 beds, of which 14 are protected

Station 3 – General Psychiatry protected and open station areas for the treatment of, inter alia, bipolar affective disorders and acute psychotic disorders; Priorities: Crisis intervention, promotion of therapy competence, nursing relationship work and group offers in the multi-professional team

Holistic care and care of patients in different psychiatric treatment settings Implementation of care measures in compliance with technical and therapeutic standards Participation in group- and everyday-oriented therapy offerings and care-guided interventions Close interdisciplinary cooperation within the multi-professional teams Active participation and further development of the nursing processes in the Department of Psychiatry
