Theresien Kinder- und Jugendhilfezentrum und St. Josephshaus e.V. is a network of three non-profit youth institutions in the Offenbach and Darmstadt-Dieburg area. Based on our systemic basic attitude, we offer children, adolescents and their families a wide range of services: outpatient measures, (partial) stationary offers, inobservations and support schools. We are a strong employer with over 700 employees, who focuses on partnership and participative cooperation at all levels.

The IU is the first university to offer a completely virtual dual study. With this innovative model you are not bound to a campus and all courses take place online. You support educational work by accompanying mothers and their children in developing a stable mother-child relationship and promoting them on their way to a positive life perspective You help mothers cope with everyday life, for example by communicating life-structural skills such as budget management, everyday structuring and financial planning You organize and accompany leisure activities for mothers and children to promote social contacts and strengthen the community You perform administrative tasks, support the documentation of care processes and administrative activities within the institution You participate in team meetings and supervisions, reflect your own work and contribute to the further development of the support services
