Head of the 'Service' department with currently 10 employees including the areas of user services, learning room design and training Representation of the management of the university library and cooperation on conceptual and strategic issues of the further development of the library Conceptual and professional responsibility for the further development of the user services (responsibility of personnel use, strategic further development of the service model and user-oriented offers, optimization of work processes, punctual adoption of service services to ensure the proximity to the operating operation) Conceptual design of the learning room library using participatory methods Conceptual development of the training area taking into account new technologies

Required Complete university studies (master or equivalent) of library and information science or a comparable subject Professional experience in the library sector Leadership and motivation to take over leadership responsibility Embossed service orientation as well as high communication skills and empathy Very good organizational capacity as well as pronounced conceptual competence and understanding for strategic relationships High commitment and willingness to actively shape change processes IT affinity and innovation joy Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
