(Junior) Project Engineer Electrification Hof – Marktredwitz

At the next time, we are looking for you as a (Junior) project engineer:in Elektrifikation Hof – Marktredwitz (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Nuremberg site. Within the framework of the project electrification Hof – Marktredwitz and tangling measures, existing railway lines in the city of Hof and in the districts Hof and Wunsiedel in the Fichtelgebirge are to be renewed and brought to the current state of the art, expanded and electrified in terms of capacity and speed. BA21/22 Hof – Oberkotzau – Martinlamitz has been building law since March 2026; there are now the planning services of the execution phase Lph 5-9 HOAI and the construction services. In the construction sections BA23/24 Kirchenlamitz – Marktredwitz and in the tanging projects for the renewal of adjacent sections of the route, planning services of the early planning phase Lph 1-4 HOAI take place and the construction law procedures are successively initiated in the next few years. As a project engineer:in the early stages of planning and in the construction phases of renewal and electrification measures of the railway infrastructure of the Ostkorridor Süd, the Franken-Sachsen-Magistrale and the Oberfrankenachsen. This means that you are responsible for the future-oriented design of the railway lines that are under construction, which can be used by the people and the economy in the region over the next few decades. This concerns not only the new overhead and energy systems, but also the construction of new control units, new track systems and new construction structures, such as bridges and support walls. In order to be perfectly prepared for your new tasks, you will be “tracked” with us in an individual onboarding. These include basic and specialist training as well as, if desired, personal support by mentorship. You can also learn methodological and secondary skills in in-house and external training. Hospitations in other projects are also free for you. After successful integration, medium-term further development options are open to you within the specialist line (senior or expert:internal roles) or the leadership role (e.g. project manager:in). As a project engineer:in you support the responsible project management in the respective performance phases (HOAI) of the project electrification Hof – Marktredwitz and the tanging measures As a generalist:in with several sub-measures, over various structures (besides the focus of electrification e.g. New construction of track systems, construction engineering structures or railroads), you move in different phases of the project During the installation phase, you will get to know the collaboration of the interfaces and will be introduced into the project management function through special trainings. In the project work, you make sure that dates are adhered to, the costs remain within the framework and the quality is correct. To do this, you instruct external and internal partners:internal and tax the implementation of the necessary measures As a communication and organizational institution, you will advance the project. You work closely with internal and external project participants, including municipalities or authorities at local or regional level

Your profile:
