Be part of our ambitious Procurement team, consisting of 15 employees, and actively contribute to the operational and strategic procurement of services as well as investment and consumer goods of GLS Germany.

Leadership: Professional and disciplinary leadership and targeted further development of a team of 3 employees Strategy: Development and implementation of sustainable product group strategies including derivation of clear procurement objectives Operating: Own-sponsored implementation of contract and price negotiations with national and international suppliers Process Optimization: Continuous Optimization of Call Processes and Strategic Supplier Relations with Focus on Reducing Maverick Donation and Implementation of Cost Avoidance Measures Project work: Active participation in cross-departmental corporate projects in which you contribute your expertise and drive innovative solutions Interface Management: You control and coordinate the cooperation with internal departments and external partners, integrating the purchasing platform Coupa to efficiently design procurement processes

Education: Successfully completed economic studies or a comparable qualification (e.g. specialist:in purchasing/logistics) with relevant practical experience Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in operational and/or strategic purchasing as well as multi-year leadership experience (approx. 5 years) Technical understanding: Ideally experience in the use of AI solutions in purchasing as well as a strong interest in digitalization and modern procurement approaches Analysis: Embossed Analytical Skills and a Structured, Solution-Oriented Operation in Complex Issues Holistic thinking and acting: entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to identify opportunities and risks at an early stage and to act accordingly Negotiating competence: Strong negotiation skills and well-founded experience in building and maintaining sustainable supplier relationships
