Social worker/pedagogist or social worker/pedagogist (w/m/d) for youth assistance in criminal proceedings

As part of the team of youth assistance in criminal proceedings, you support young people who have become guilty before, during and after legal proceedings. They advise young people and parents and work professionally well-founded in working up the crimes. Interdisciplinary cooperation, collegial exchange and work in a dedicated team form the basis of your daily work.

Part-time 29.25 hours/W. - Remuneration up to the EG S 14 TVöD - limited for 1 year - now

Your tasks

• advise, accompany and support young people who have become criminals and, where appropriate, their guardians during the entire investigation and criminal proceedings; and
• They work with the legal institutions involved in criminal law care, such as the juvenile court, the prosecution office and the police, as well as other institutions and institutions involved in youth assistance.

Your profile

• You have a completed university education as a graduate social worker (w/m/d) or a corresponding Bachelor degree with the state recognition as a social worker (w/m/d),
• You have a driving licence of class B,
• in difficult cases, you contribute to finding solutions together through your self-confidence as well as your pronounced communication and team skills,
• your flexibility, patience and resilience also convince you in challenging work situations,
• They cultivate a friendly and binding approach to young people,
• They have well-founded expertise in youth assistance and youth justice, or are willing to take care of them,
• independent, structured and responsible work as well as the ability to keep track of complex tasks, characterize your profile,
• They are safe in handling the common Microsoft Office software products and show the willingness and ability to work quickly and independently into new software and digital applications.

Besides regular working hours, call-ready services are to be carried out in the framework of protection measures for children and young people according to §§ 42, 42a SGB VIII. The willingness to call will be given to the team together with a colleague (w/m/d) from Hansestadt Lüneburg.
