In your daily work, you are responsible for internal repair work on clutches and the various other VULKAN products You take over worldwide repair and maintenance work including evaluation and reporting. This includes varied service operations in the maritime environment, such as cruise and container ships or in the industrial sector In the worldwide execution of alignment work (director control, messages, realignment, etc.) in different fields of application, you work with the most modern laser alignment devices and their software You check clutches in different application areas in relation to the drive system and its behaviour as a whole system Your tasks include creating external assembly reports, acceptance logs, alignment logs and checklists As part of service operations, you take responsibility, instruct staff provided on site and coordinate the work carried out True to our motto “We ensure that systems work better.” analyze and evaluate possible fault influences on the drive system and ensure a smooth running of our customers’ systems

You bring a successfully completed training to the industrial mechanic, ship mechatronic, or a comparable training with You have relevant professional experience in assembly or in the field service You bring a customer- and service-oriented operation with You speak English sufficiently well to communicate with foreign missions in word and writing You are flexible and interested in a varied job where daily work on site in Herne is regularly interrupted by multi-day (usually between 3-10 days) worldwide service operations You have a valid driving permit (at least class B)
