OUR OFFICE:

• The head physician of the department, together with the head physician Orthopaedia and Trauma Surgery, is in possession of a training authorization in the field of general surgery of 72 months and for the Common Trunk "basic Surgery" for 24 months. For vascular surgery there is also a training authorization for 6 months; for visceral surgery for 54 months, for special visceral surgery for 18 months.

The General, Visceral and Vascular Surgery Clinic has two stations with a total of 40 beds. The focus in the general and visceral surgery area is on diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, in particular minimally invasive oncological surgery on colon and rectum as well as the liver. Furthermore, in a high number, the surgical care of thyroid diseases and diseases of the bile system is carried out, supplemented by a chir. endoscopy. There is special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of suffering in the field of the end-darm including conservative and surgical incontinence therapy. Our second large working area represents the diseases of the vascular system both in the venous and in the arterial area.
