IT Team Leader / IT Specialist (MA) for the Center for Molecular Neurobiology (m/f/d)

The Center for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg (ZMNH) is a center of the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), which focuses on the molecular and cellular neurosciences of the physiological functions and diseases of the nervous system as a basic research center. We, the IT service group, are a team of 6 employees and provide the IT infrastructure for research at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology. We operate storage systems, backup, VMware clusters and servers for scientific concerns (KI and Deep Learning) in a Linux-based data center. You work with us in an international environment. The IT service group takes care of all the concerns of the research IT at the ZMNH. The implementation of current EU directives also against threats is carried out in close coordination and cooperation with the central UKE-IT. A completed scientific university degree from the field of computer science, technical computer science, physics, mathematics or other IT discipline or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience (e.g. in connection with a degree in engineering or the like) Ideally, you are taking back several years of relevant professional experience from the IT of a large company or the advice of such organizations.
