Data Protection Specialist (m/f/d)

Together with your team, you ensure that data protection regulations are complied with and implemented You support questions in data protection law when consulting companies/business areas You contribute to the development of data protection concepts, in particular you support the further development of the data protection management system You take over the processing of requests for data subjects that are received from the companies we provide. You support data protection impact assessments and take care of the care and creation of directories of processing activities You support the assessment and processing of data protection incidents, in particular as part of the factual clarification, control of reporting processes and recommendation of measures You act independently on data protection issues where you act as a professional contact person You keep an eye on current data protection developments and legal requirements, prepare the content appropriately (e.g. compilation of summaries and overviews) and develop our knowledge hub continuously on this basis You support the further development of our awareness measures to strengthen awareness of data protection

You ideally have a degree in law, economic law or a comparable degree course You bring a professional experience of at least 1 year in the field of data protection, ideally you can already demonstrate appropriate certifications, trainings or further education You know the relevant data protection laws (in particular GDPR, BDSG) and apply them safely in everyday work You work independently and result-oriented You have the pleasure of imparting complex facts to the addressee and bringing strong communicative skills with You are happy to work in the team and will be kind, safe and confident to contact persons You are motivated and willing to work on complex issues You have very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English (min. B1) in word and writing
