In the area of corporate risk management & services, we are driving innovations, methods, processes and digitization to ensure adequate control of the risks analysed. We are responsible for corporate risk management and monitoring for the DZ BANK Group with its various companies and business models and continuously develop the IT system landscape. Our four divisions Group Risk, Credit Principle, Reporting and CRO (Chief Risk Offices) Services & IT focus on the risk management of the DZ BANK Group in all its aspects, the management and compliance of Group-wide credit specifications, risk reporting, including the ongoing assessment of economic, political and regulatory developments and the development and implementation of the Chief Risk Office's IT strategy. Whether you like to play with numbers, dive into risk analyses or develop risk scenarios, are IT affinities or are interested in new technologies, develop specifications, monitor compliance, or interest you in overall economic relationships: with us you will find useful. As an area trainer, you have the opportunity to get to know and introduce our various departments and comprehensive topics during your program. We are working in a very dynamic environment, which regularly changes as a result of geopolitical challenges, new requirements of supervision or by macroeconomic developments and new technological developments, such as the use of artificial intelligence. Responsive action shapes our dealings with risks and the different fields of action in the context of sustainable lending and the assessment of risks related to ESG factors. In your 12-month trainee program with an individual throughput plan, you will work in the various units of the Group Risk Control & Services division. The location of your activity is Frankfurt. In addition, you have the possibility of hospiting in various sections and subsidiaries.

You have a successfully completed Master's degree in full-time (2.5 or better), preferably in the field of economics or natural sciences. Our range of topics is wide-ranging – in this respect, non-specialized courses are also possible for suitability. You have optimally gained first practical experience in financial questions that are valuable from the outset. You can communicate in German (min. C1) in writing as well as oral. You bring passion for our multi-layered risk issues with you and you enjoy developing and target-oriented solutions. You convince your team members of your ideas and can thus develop your full potential. We aim to make methods, processes and architectures more sustainable. With your structured and detailed approach, you can contribute to the achievement of our goals with the same ability to reduce complexity. You have a willingness to learn, curiosity and pleasure to learn new topics during your trainee program and to work into them quickly.

Perspective: You start with an indefinite contract and a salary of EUR 64,000 during and EUR 69,000 after the trainee program.
