Activity

• Responsibility for the implementation and control of approval management
• Communication and coordination with the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) and other relevant authorities
• Examination and evaluation of export control issues in the operating daily business
• Support in ensuring a legally compliant implementation of export control requirements within the company
• Care, monitoring and demand-oriented further development of the Internal Compliance Program (ICP)
• Observation of current legal and regulatory developments in export control and their assessment for the company
• Continuous professional training and knowledge transfer on export control issues

Preconditions

• Complete study of law, economics, economic law, engineering or completed vocational training in the field of customs / foreign trade
• Multiannual professional experience in the field of export control and external economic law
• Knowledge of German and European export control regulations and ideally of US re-export and customs law
• Experience in approval management and handling of authorities, in particular the BAFA
• Safe handling of current MS Office applications and ideally experience with export control or Compliance systems
• Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
