Code: 1508/2025/12 For active participation in the Rhineland study, we are looking for a friendly and reliable personality with joy in dealing with people to strengthen our team (in full time or part-time with at least 80%). The Rhineland study is a large-scale, population-based long-term study with up to 20,000 participants from Bonn. The aim of this epidemiological study is to investigate prevention possibilities and preclinical biomarkers of neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases, as well as to investigate normal and pathological brain structure and function on the course of life in adults. The two research centres (Beuel and Duisdorf) are equipped with state-of-the-art technology for comprehensive health studies, including magnetic resonance tomographs. The study is conducted in cooperation with national and international academic and other scientific partners.

You independently carry out the MRT investigations (e.g. structural, functional and diffusion-weighted sequences) on test subjects: inside the 3T Siemens Prisma scanner according to established, study-specific protocols. Your tasks include explaining the course of the study for the test subjects: inside, positioning and instruction of test subjects: inside the scanner, recording and monitoring of safety and vital parameters, the situation-oriented intervention in the event of technical vulnerabilities or demolition criteria, the documentation of measurement and examination results, and the help with the establishment of new measurement protocols and innovative sequences. In addition, make sure that our participants feel comfortable and safe during the MRT investigation. We also offer you the opportunity to expand your knowledge in other areas of investigation, such as neurology, cognition or blood withdrawal (no pre-experience required – the training is carried out internally). Graduated training as a medical technologist / medical technologist (m/w/d) for radiology (MTR) or professional experience in the MRT sector Practical-clinical pre-experience in direct dealing with subjects:inside or patient:inside Teamability, pronounced social competence and training and service orientation even with high workloads Secure computer identifiers (electronic data input, MS Office) Basic knowledge of English is a plus Certain, careful working style on the highest quality standard, methodological accuracy flexibility in terms of working hours; These are based on the opening hours of the study centres
